Hi Mick,

I would absolutely love to learn more and be schooled here!

Several years ago I did trial a whole manner of IPv4/IPv6 translation
solutions and at the time came to the conclusion that the best solution was
double stacking.

As a provider of business internet services, I have home users (more than
ever at the moment) attempting to access their office VPNs and servers etc
but it appears that many of the home broadband providers still offer IPv4
only solutions. Again, I'm happy to be corrected on this but I can only
work on my own experience.

I have also found that there appears to be a reluctance to support IPv6
from IT managers who despite being offered IPv6 connectivity have generally
declined - again this is my own experience in the UK. And whilst the larger
service providers appear to have enough IPv4 addresses for the foreseeable
future, this is a big problem for the smaller providers, as we could end up
losing customers.

Would you be willing to share some of your IPv6 experiences?

Thanks

Paul
