 The only times I've managed to push this out has been  either a
requirement or based on trust.

i) Whereas the customer trusted me implicitly when I said you will need
this going forward and trusted me to remove it if it all went pair shaped
(see: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=56w128psegU).  Ironically that
customer has moved on now sadly, but they kept the v6 as a requirement with
the new provider :)

ii) Due to a digital gaming event based on xbox whereas we looked after the
venue and the gaming org made v6 a requirement.

iii) Due to a chinese door entry system that only (yes, really) supported
ipv6.

 The default of those who don't understand v6 (the majority outside various
netops communities) is generally no. I can understand that, agree, no,
understand, yes.
