At the lower end they were outclassed by their own siblings - R4000 CPU
Indy with xz (GPU hardware) graphics had worse graphics performance than
R5000 models with a dumb framebuffer and the CPU doing all the work. My
used one was the first computer I ever had with video in/out and a
webcam though. And their take on a CDE desktoop was quite nice.
