One of my ISP customers has been told by one of their open access network providers that their CPEs need to support vlan ID 0.
Can anyone advise why this is done over just adding vlan tags and 802.1p priorities upon ingress into the OAN providers network? Just seems like something that could force the ISPs to use different and potentially more expensive CPEs? Thanks Paul
