We’ve had that in Telehouse when doing late night maintenance. Sometimes they think and do it, but other times not so if you are going to pass midnight, it’s better to ask and make sure.
I had it a few months ago in THW - popped to the toilet and couldn’t get back in to the suite. There is a phone number on the access card so if you do get stuck you can just call them and ask them to sort it, but it’s still a hassle if you are stood waiting.
