Could I get your feedback on how you go about Out Of Band Management of your

similar type environments.

There are 3 elements I'm interested in reviewing
1) Remote Power Cycling
Depends on whether APC SmartPDUs are installed and whether the serial / IP port is available to us (sometimes it's closed off by the DC operator for their power monitoring & billing), otherwise you can look at products from Tripplite
2) Remote Access Methodology (ie ADSL, Cellular, Etc)
Usually ADSL on a phone line, Cellular (4G) access in DCs is notoriously bad at many sites
3) Terminal Console Access
Blackbox Console Servers, but if you have an old 2500 Cisco that still works reliably can use that, though probably some security issues with the old software on these, might want to only network it to a bastion host.

I'd be really interested to hear if anyone has an all-in-one wonder product for
these.
If only... though many have an API, so you could write some software to have a SPOG management interface.

TIA

Paul
