Hi Boris, Could you please tell me which versions of ULC and ULC VE you tried installing?
You say that ULC VE was installed successfully but you had trouble running the ULC installer. Is that right? On what platform are you trying to install ULC? Assuming you are using Windows, I suggest the following: 1. Obtain ULC eval license, download and install ULC 6.0.4. 2. Install Eclipse 3.1. 3. Obtain ULC VE 5.0 eval license, download and install ULC VE 5.0 4. Start Eclipse and create a Java project in Eclipse 5. Put ULC libraries in the java build path of the project exactly as described in "Help Contents > ULC Visual Editor Help > Using the ULC Visual Editor in a ULC Project". Do not put ULC jars directly in the build path if you want to work with the Visual Editor. 6. Now you can create ULC application using the Visual Editor or otherwise. 7. Optionally you may also install ULC Integration Plugin for Eclipse http://ulc-community.canoo.com/snipsnap/space/Contributions/Integration+Snip pets/Eclipse+IDE+Integration If you need to evaluate Visual Editor for a longer duration you can order the Eval license again or write to us with a specific request and we can send you an extended license. I hope this helps. Please get back to us if you have any questions.
