Of typhus fever, on the 21st instant, at the house of Mr. Joseph MOONEY, Waterside, Londonderry, where he had been on a visit, the Rev. Anthony DILLON, R.C.C. of Donegal, aged 31 years. At Newtonstewart early on Sunday morning last, in the 47th year of his age, Mr. James ROSS, merchant, who was deservedly respected and beloved for his honesty, and straightforward principles. He was a good neighbour, a kind husband, an attentive father, and his death is deeply deplored by the inhabitants of Newtownstewart. On Saturday, 16th inst., at his residence in Killybegs, after a few days illness, Wm.BLAIR Esq., aged 49 years, deservedly and sincerely regretted. At Ballyholly, near Raphoe, on Saturday evening last, David KINCAID Esq., aged 70. At Portrush, on the 11th inst.. Mary Lecky HOLLAND relict of the late Major John HOLLAND 86th Regiment. On the 13th inst, at Beech hill, near Omagh, suddenly, after having given birth to a still-born child, Annie, the beloved wife of the Rev. W. S. CUTHBERT On Tuesday, the 19th inst., Mr. John SKELTON of Omagh, aged 40 years. At his residence, on Friday, Mr John KELLY an old and respected merchant of Omagh At Maghera on the 13th inst., Anne, relict of the late Dr. M'CLELLAND, rejoicing in the hope of the Gospel. Of Typhus fever, on the 9th inst., at Portsmonth, Ensign DARLEY, of the 77th Regiment, grandson of the late Wm. Thornton TODD Esq., of Buncrana Castle, County Donegal, most-deservedly beloved by all who knew him. On the 10th inst., at the United Presbyterian Manse, Galston, near Kilmarnock, Mrs. John HUTCHISON, late of Ballymena At Port Robinson, Upper Canada, America, on the 22nd October, aged 26 years, Mr. Thomas Blake THORNLEY only son of Thomas THORNLEY, Sub-Inspector of Constabulary, Coleraine. On the 20th ult., of consumption at her brother s residence in Cumber Claudy, after a painful and lingering illness, which she bore with Christian fortitude and resignation, Lavinia, second daughter of Mr George RITCHIE of Straid. At Tullyvally near Fintona on Monday, the 20th instant, George, eldest son of Mr. George CUNNINGHAM aged 22 years. On the 5th inst. in London Mrs. Elizabeth HARVEY, second daughter of the late Thomas HARVEY Esq., of Newry formerly of Greenhill, co. Tyrone. At Yorkville, South Carolina, 3rd October inst., Captain John BLAIR aged 78 years. He was born in the county of Tyrone - €”spent the early part of his life in Strabane and Donagheady, and emigrated to America in 1796. He was a gentleman of character and understanding, a member of the Presbyterian Church, and an enlightened and liberal supporter of literary institutions. Although for more than half century a citizen of the United States, he took a deep and lively interest in everything that concerned the welfare and prosperity of his native land. He induced a number of families to immigrate and assisted them in obtaining comfortable settlements. Unsolicited, he transmitted annually sums of money to his friends and relations in this country. He gave £500 for educational purposes, to the Congregations of second Donagheady and Strabane, and when news of the famine which lately visited us, reached him, he not only gave a handsome subscription to the Irish General Relief Fund, € and collected in behalf of it, but sent a quantity of breadstuffs for the relief of the distressed in one of the districts of his native parish.
