- Richard CROZIER, b. 1810, Co. Tyrone, Ireland
- first appears in Erin Ontario Canada about 1838, opens first hotel in
that town
- marries Elizabeth GRINDELL, who immigrated to Canada with her parents
and brother Robert GRINDELL in 1833, from Co. Monaghan, Ireland, settled
in Eramosa Twp., Ontario
- Thomas Crozier, b. 1813, Kilskeery Parish, Dromore, Co. Tyrone,
Ireland
- married Susannah MORROW, b. 1817, Ireland
- settled in Trafalgar Twp., Halton Co., Ontario about 1836
- we believe that Richard CROZIER and Thomas CROZIER were brothers
(based on DNA evidence)
- the Anglican Archdeacon for the Orangeville / Erin / Halton Co. area
informs that the marriage records for that period have 'long since been
lost'
- I believe the records for Kilskeery Parish, Co. Tyrone, were burned
in the 1922 fire
- we have recorded the descendants of these men
- we are seeking their ancestors
