Thinkpad X40 - best all around laptop that I've ever seen. 12" screen, <2lbs. Perfect keyboard - uses a eraser head instead of a track pad, which can be annoying. No on board dvd/cdrom, but you can get a USB drive or their docking station. I have mine in my office (AVW 3122) if you want to stop by and see it... - Rob .
