Agreed, reviews aren't everything. It would be nice to have more options. I may end up with an iRiver, but I'll certainly research more. I'd be glad to hear information good or bad from you guys since I have a pretty good idea of your ability to handle tech. :-)

I know when I was looking at some of their flash players a year or two ago they were some of the more highly rated. However, good or bad, I take user reviews with a pretty big grain of salt. Often there aren't enough reviews to really be statistically significant, and I think there's also considerable bias in many cases (due to self selection). Mostly, it seems there are always a few people who have a horrible experience, no matter how good the product, and they always seem to show up to put in a review.
