I did mean using/access the iPod via Linux, not porting Linux to my iPod (IMHO, a fairly disturbing trend... my toaster should never run Linux, but as soon as it comes with an APIC, I'm sure someone will port Linux to it). Thanks for the responses so far... - Rob .
