I am using Kmail (kde 3.5beta2, opensuse 10 rpms) and I'm having problems with imap for mail.umd.edu. I get the following error:
Error while listing folder /INBOX/: Could not enter folder imaps://[EMAIL PROTECTED]:993/INBOX/;TYPE=LSUB. which I've been getting for a while, for different versions of Kmail. In essence, I can't enter the inbox folder, but I can enter all others. The possible causes kmail gives for that are: a) Your access permissions may be inadequate to perform the requested operation on this resource. b) The file may be in use (and thus locked) by another user or application. The same server works fine with thunderbird and kmail also works fine with the glue imap server. Any clues to what's wrong? As a wild guess, the ending ;TYPE=LSUB is NOT the folder location thunderbird gives. Could that be it? If yes, does anybody know how to change this for kmail? Chris
