I know David personally, though; he's more than capable of handling the
math as well as expressing himself intelligently on paper (or CRT, as the
case will be). :)  Granted, my reply went to all members of UM-Linux, but
he was the original poster.

The hardest part for me was doing compound interest.

The comparison to the SATs is apt enough; I did better on the verbal than
the math there too.  A big advantage of taking the GRE on the computer,
though, is that you can use the backspace key for the essay. :)
