Student Java Programming Position
The UMIACS ADAPT project is hiring student java programmers for work on
various java projects using web/grid technologies in support of digital
archiving projects. Named as one of the 'Holy Grails' of computing by IEEE
Spectrum, long term digital content preservation is actively being
researched on many fronts. Our current projects involve collaborations
with the National Archives, Library of Congress, and San Diego
Supercomputing.

Students will be given an opportunity to work with various xml/java
technologies. The position is available during the school year and over
university breaks. Applicants must be familiar with java.
