I also considered using hard drives, but they're overkill for my needs in terms of storage, and a little expensive at $40 a pop.
I'm just looking for "oh, it works" or "here's the problem I had". I don't want too many surprises. :)
Anyone have any experience on using DVD-RAM with Linux? I want a
quiet, tape-like backup solution, and it seems like DVD-RAM is pretty
good, if you can stay within the size limit involved (9gb for
dual-layer). If anyone's got experience with using it USB-connected,
that'd be even better.
