The Libraries Researchport system should take care of this for you.
If you are coming in from off campus it will ask you to login, at
which point you can access those databases.  There were some problems
where the UMD split tunnel profile was causing confusion with
researchport's authentication, but I think those have been addressed.

There are no immediate plans to drop UMD-TunnellAll, and we obviously
won't do it if valuable functionality is lost.  I was just trying to
steer people to UMD profile, since it's almost always a better performing
setup.
