Hey Guys,

I work for Red Hat as a Solutions Architect. That's really just a fancy title for someone that comes into customer meetings and shows them how to use Linux. I found you guys be googling "linux LUGs."

I wanted to reach out to you guys to introduce myself, and offer a connection point into Red Hat. My role within Red Hat is within the Federal teams; it's my job to work with government Agencies on Open Source projects, gearing things towards the usage of RHEL. I've previously created the standard RHEL4 load now used at the National Security Agency, as well as partnered with IBM virtualizing RHEL on super computers.

I noticed in the archives that you guys put out a call for presentations in October. Is there anything that you guys would be interested in hearing about? If interested, some topics I could offer up:

   * RHEL Usage within the Government. How & why NSA chose Red Hat.
   * Securing Top Secret information through SELinux and RHEL
   * Implementing Global Cluster Solutions
   * Virtualizing through Xen
   * ...... whatever you want. Shout out some ideas!

Just for the record, I'm not a salesman -- any presentations would be strictly technical. I just wanted to reach out to the community and see if there is any interest.

Regards,
Shawn
