Greetings Fellow Linux Users,
I have taken my first tentative step in transitioning from MacOS to Ubuntu.

I got Thunderbird to talk to my Apple iCloud email account and discovered
almost immediately that it seems to be a terrible email client for 2023.
In 1998 I would have been happy with it, but not today.

So, I am wondering if I should just stick with the webclient for gmail and
iCloud or if there is a "better" email client for Ubuntu?

In case you are wondering, my biggest problem (so far) is that there
doesn't seem to be a way to tell Thunderbird about all the mail folders and
sorting rules that I have in iCloud mail. I shouldn't be surprised at
that, but I don't know if I really want to go to the trouble to rebuild all
that, only to discover it might work as poorly as mail sorting does in
MaOS. It also is kind of ugly and I think it put koolaid in my fish tank.

Thanks for any suggestions,
Tom
