Changes: - Fixed numerous Makefile bugs. I believe "make download" followed by "make iso" (or "make tftpboot") will actually work now. Thanks again to Shad. - Added pcmcia-cs package (specifically cardmgr and some of /etc/pcmcia), and added its invocation to /etc/master. This tool is requied to bind drivers to PCMCIA (PC Card) devices. So we now support PCMCIA network cards, I think. - Added GNU Parted (http://www.gnu.org/software/parted/). This will let you examine and modify your partition table, and even create FAT16 and FAT32 file systems. The interface may be a little unfamiliar, but it is sane and scriptable. I believe this should resolve all outstanding reported problems except those reported by Jordan Share for Broadcom network cards. The next step is to add Perl, but first I need to deal with splitting stuff up between the boot disk and the network (the mysterious "stage2"). The Plan is to replace, for instance, /usr/bin/perl with a symlink to /z/linuxaux/usr/bin/perl. If you haven't tried the Linux boot disk on your systems yet, now is a good time. - Pat ------------------------------------------------------- SF.Net is sponsored by: Speed Start Your Linux Apps Now.
