hm, the "ntldr not found" has been mostly on PATA Compaqs after the intel 
chipset kernel drivers moved to libata. I just assumed that other intelbased 
machines has the same problem, but maybe not?

And then there is Thinkpads.. ..always "ntldr not found"
And same goes for some HP laptops (they are about 1 year old now)

Brand new machines seems to be 255 heads, all of them.

The parted 1.6.22 seems to have some other bugs that I can live with for a 
little while, but not for long.
