We have started purchasing Dell Optiplex 755's and found that our
Unattended install did not handle their Network cards.
So I downloaded the Unattended CVS and compiled (today), the network cards
now work, but the installation doesn't.
After going through the install options (OS, drivers, hostname) and
selecting the option to use the whole disk, it only creates a 4gig
partition on the disk and won't install WinXp.
I tried the new nt5x-install method, but after the windows setup (text
user interface) tried to load the GUI setup it Blue Screen of Deathed.
I tried using dd to blank the partition table of the disk, then run
Unattended again, with no success.
Then tried installing via unattended into a VMware image but also just end
up with the 4gig partition?
Any idea what the problem can be?
Cheers
Mike Hodgkinson
