hm, then it must be something replacing ntldr.
The ntldr boot code from unattended is in German..
Do you see the English ones *after*  the windows installer converts from fat 
to ntfs?

and if thats the case it is very bad, ..
but, it should be easy to check

So, unattended-gui is using 1.6.22?
I wondering if 1.6.22 get disk geometry right because it cant read edd..
..if thats the case, it is good guesswork from parted!

Does ntfs avoid the heads/sectors issue more like the file systems under linux 
does?
