hello I managed to install debian lenny (gcc-4.3.2).
the build process fails on glibc-2.6.1 /nscd/connections.c:1291: more undefined references to `__stack_chk_guard' follow collect2: ld returned 1 exit status make[3]: *** [/unattended/linuxboot/build-glibc-2.6.1/nscd/nscd] Error 1 make[3]: Leaving directory `/unattended/linuxboot/glibc-2.6.1/nscd' make[2]: *** [nscd/others] Error 2 make[2]: Leaving directory `/unattended/linuxboot/glibc-2.6.1' make[1]: *** [all] Error 2 make[1]: Leaving directory `/unattended/linuxboot/build-glibc-2.6.1' make: *** [build-glibc-2.6.1/libc.so] Error 2 any ideas?
