well,
Modifying the boot stuff is a bit tedious if you have everything on the 
initrd, but I would like to get clear interfaces, by interfaces i mean 
responsibilities.

boot up system.
bring interface up.
mount network share.
get configuration options
make partition
copy files
make bootable
reboot

Do you know that if you use a 4.7 Cd will not work with 4.8 network share?
