I agree: a new RC within few days will help a lot of people with their new hardware; building unattended from source is not so easy and can be really time-consuming. BTW, we should provides more informations on building process and tweaks related to major Linux distributions (RHEL/CentOS, Fedora, Ubuntu, Debian), like a Wiki page. A starting point could be describing the environment you use to build "official" binary releases of Unattended. On my side, I'm able to build it with CentOS4/gcc-3.4.6 but with tricks on dosemu. I also agree that my code has to be rewieded: "working for me" is mandatory but not necessarily sufficient ;-) Pierre ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Stay on top of everything new and different, both inside and around Java (TM) technology - register by April 22, and save $200 on the JavaOne (SM) conference, June 2-5, 2009, San Francisco. 300 plus technical and hands-on sessions.
