my Solution to install Direct X 9 is very simple: Download the package from Microsoft, extract it and excange the dxsetup.exe with the old one from v8.1. Then you can run it like described for 8.1. This worked for me without any probs under w2k. So, i hope this helps. I've two probs under W2K /Wxp: first: How could I change the location of the pagefile.sys from drive C: to drive D: ??? and second: has anybody a script for changing the location of the IEcache-dir to another drive an dir for all or at last the current user (Admin)???
