I also create an admin user, but I do not have this problem - even though the screen saver kicks in with some of the bigger packages. We are working with W2K server & pro here, and some fairly heavy group policy action.
If you are also using W2K throughout, let me know & I will have a dig through the GP's & see if there is something there altering things (reply to the list, not personally because I monitor this from more than one location)

In our unattended installation, we have the machine create a second user with administrator status. This works fine except that when you create a second user, it enables the 'On Resume Password Protect' feature of the screen saver. This also ins't a problem until the install reaches some of the larger packages, such as Visual Studio and Cygwin. I've googled about how to disable this feature from the registry, but I can't find anything. The only way that I've found to turn it off is to uncheck it in the Display Properties > Screen Saver tab. If anyone knows another way to disable this feature I would appreciate your suggestions. Thanks.
