Hi

I haven't understood the problem actually; do you just want to disable the
screensaver or just the "on resume function"?

Possible solutions what I would say is to change the default power settings
from the cmd line and the power tool avalible from Microsoft.

Or build a small AutoIt script and run that one to solve it. I know that
this is not the best solution but I can maybe help you meanwhile you wait
for another solution.

I haven't tested this out on any version of W2K because we are trying to 
phase it out.  I am having this problem in XP, and there isn't really 
any group policies or anything like that.  I think it might be just a 
default 'security' feature.  I'm not really sure though.
