I got an offlist mail from Brian Mathis recomending a utility called wait.exe. Syntas : Wait.exe <installer with parameters> Wait.exe then starts the installer, and when the installer (including any spawned processes) are done it returns to the prompt/todo.pl. I scripted all my oracle installations (all 2.33 GB of it) using wait.exe and it just works. Perhaps someone should add a link to it on the webpage, cause Im sure it can save us from a lot of trouble with other lame installers. More info on wait.exe.
