The way I understand it, Acer media *and Acer product key* will indeed install on an IBM, but unfortunately I can't verify this for at elast a couple of days. I know the product recovery CDROMs are BIOS-locked; for instance you cannot recover a Toshiba with an IBM recovery CD set.
