I agree with all of this, too.  I have thought about it some, and I
have the beginning of a design bouncing around in my head, but I am
not sure I have time to flesh it out and implement it.

If someone with time (and taste) wants to start such a project,
though, I would try to help out when I can.  Keeping systems
up-to-date after they are installed is probably the #1 feature request
for Unattended.
