I will probably make umbpci the default again in the next release. > then, copying the os setup runs well, but without having disabled > smartdrv in bootdisk/autoexec.bat windows setup will complain about > missing files or files it can't access ( e.g. cdaudio.sys ) > afterwards. This is a new one on me. Are you saying it works if you disable smartdrv? > using the linux boot cd as alternative then works better for the > network drivers but when it comes to O/S selection it simply prompts > me i could not find any O/Ses .. Please see this thread from yesterday on the unattended-devel list: http://www.mail-archive.com/[EMAIL PROTECTED]/msg00272.html And see if it looks familiar. In short, the Linux CIFS driver (which we use as a fallback) introduces some case-sensitivity into the picture. If you rename all of the files on your OS distribution point to lower case, it should help. (And I wrote a script to automate this.) I will add all this to the FAQ soon. - Pat ------------------------------------------------------- SF.Net email is sponsored by Shop4tech.com-Lowest price on Blank Media 100pk Sonic DVD-R 4x for only $29 -100pk Sonic DVD+R for only $33 Save 50% off Retail on Ink & Toner - Free Shipping and Free Gift. http://www.shop4tech.com/z/Inkjet_Cartridges/9_108_r285 _______________________________________________ unattended-info mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/unattended-info
