Yep, that worked. Mostly.... Now I just need to work out why the same line I
use to get the Linux test image to recognise my network card doesn't work
when I boot unattended...

It should be an ne2000. I'm getting extra consoles now, and I've tried
modprobe'ing still can't bring up the interface. lspci is showing _nothing_
:-\
