in my situation we are using OEM so I have used the CSV procedure.

I use for OEM too. I use a generic serial # depending on the version of the os, but when I've got the computer completely set up, I run SYSPREP, which wipes out the serial #, so the customer goes through the whole typing in the license #, agreeing to the EULA, and all that stuff that they legally have to do. I have sysprep as one of the optional bat files, so when I need to run sysprep, I go to the netinst dir & run sysprep from there. The only side affect is that when the computer logs in for the "first" time, it tries running the mapznrun.bat file, so in cleanup it moves all bat files to the logs directory.
