I'm using Unattended for a while and it works quite nice.
Today I had to install 5 new systems on quite old hardware (some
Siemens-Nixdorf Scenic computers with 200 MHz CPU).
It didn't work - Unattended was started (where I picked a hostname
etc.), Windows 2000 files were copied, but after first reboot, all I can
see is "read error while reading drive".
This problem was also signalled in this post:
http://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/message.php?msg_id=9973476
Does anyone have a solution for that?
yet again I answer myself :))
so if anyone has that error, it's enough to put a Windows 98 boot
floppy, and run:
fdisk /mbr
why Unattended (on top of FreeDOS then) can't do it properly, remains a
mystery.
