This problem was mentioned a while ago, and I just wanted to follow up with
some details, hopefully to the point of a solution.

Situation: Install starts, copies all files and on the first boot into
Windows, the following error appears:

NTLDR is missing
Press any key to restart

This only seems to be happening on Intel Motherboards, specifically the
865GLC and the 915GAG. In VMware, the same setup/linux boot cd works
perfectly, as it did on an older Dell machine I just re-imaged.

When booting the Linux boot cd, I get the following error on the problem
boards:

Loading bzImage...............Not enough memory to load specified kernel.

It drops me to a boot: prompt at this point, and typing "unattended"
re-launches ISOLINUX and it successfully loads the kernel and starts the
install process to the point of NTLDR missing.

Does anyone have anything to offer that might solve this issue? I'll play
around with the BIOS settings for the hard drive configuration. In one
machine I have a PATA drive, so I'll try putting the bios in "legacy" mode
to disable the SATA ports, but the other machines have SATA drives in them.
