Hello,

I'm trying unattended to remotly install windows XP already with Service Pack
2 (built in in the iso).

The client machine (in vmware) successfully boots the iso image, next i choose
the disk for PCNet ethernet adaptar. The machine boots, starts network
interface, mounts z: share and starts install.pl.

In install.pl i choose to erase entire disk, format it and choose the windows
xp to install. Next, i insert the serial and the other infos about
unattended.

The script copies data to disk and windows install starts. It loads net inf
file and starts copying files.

At some point, it stops, and the screen keeps on saying "Please wait while
Setup copies files to your hard disk." Do you have any info on this?

Has anyone successfully installed windows XP SP2?

Thanks
Nuno Fernandes
