Just a little thing i am fiddling around. I am trying to modify the install.pl script, so it will start a AutoIt Script after windows installation. Instead of installing perl.
I know the programmers made a good job with the perl scripts, but i don't like to have leftovers after uninstalling perl. Point is, i would like to be able to either modify the install.pl so it takes a additional option in [_meta] to switch between todo.pl post-installation or my autoit. I have some problems with doing that, since i am not really a programmer. Basically, i managed to get the install.pl to recognize .au3 instead of .bat and to modify the first-line catcher. What i dont get at the moment is how to copy my .au3 and the autoit3.exe with the perl-script to the netinst-folder. (i could do that with $OEM, but i dont like that idea.) And how to modify the command0/guirunonce so it fits what i want. It would be enough if you point me to some lines in install.pl where i could try to modify it, so it either does only autoit or does autoit and todo.pl postinstallation (which would then be decided by a setting in [_meta]) I hope you don't rip me apart in the air for asking this. -- Thanks.
