Sounds good, but the postinst feature would be fine, if it would use a field in the unattended.csv which flags "special" notebooks. If we use a enviromnet variable like z_special you have to interrupt the boot process, or you need differend boot CDs. Someone can use the wrong CD and he has to start again. So using a flag in the unattended.csv has the advantance to use only one CD, noone has to remember if the notebook is a "special" notebook (we use the linux CD to install R51 without any problems..) an less mistakes can be made. What do you think ? Sorry, but I am not a perl programmer, so I cant implement this soon.
