I would like to humbly make the following suggestion to the developers
of the unattended system:

Patch the kernel on the CD to include the linux screen reader, speakup.

Many live CD distros, including knoppix, grml, and System rescue, now
come with speakup compiled into the kernel.

Adding the speakup patches to the unattended kernel would allow blind
people to connect a speech synthesizer to a PC and then run the installer.

Even vetter would be if you could include one of the free software
speech synthesizers. To see what I mean, try grml.
At the boot prompt type 'grml swspeak'. Run 'swspeak' after booting up
to activate speech output.

grml is here: http://www.grml.org.

Adding a software speech synthesizer might be too much work. However,
it's not very difficult to patch the kernel for the speakup package.
