I have spent a while searching around the unattended site, links, FAQs, and
tried ever way to search online to help find an answer, but still nothing. I
have a working PXE/Kickstart setup that I have used many times for
linux/unix installs, but lost as to how to get this working with Unattended.
There is no documentation available on setting this up. From what I have
done so far:
I am using the unattended-gui ua-root/ua-kernel boot and booting up with the
gentoo initrd, and I am able to mount to my CIFS/Samba share, but have no
idea how to get anything accomplished from this point.
I tried to run the DosEMU program, but it failed on locating the dosboot.img,
which does exist, but doesnt seem to be able to navigate through paths on
the filesystem properly.
So, at this point, I am really lost as to how this should be working.
Can anyone who has a working setup please help point me to the right
direction at least?
Thanks,
Eric
