Hello, On my brand new installation on Windows XP SP3, I noticed it was not installed activated. This surprised me.
So I tried to manually activate it, but it doesn't work. I then tried activating via phone call, but this didn't work either (it said the product key was already in use - I responded by pushing 1 as instructed and was disconnected on both calls). I eventually got this email from Microsoft: "A preliminary investigation of your issue has determined that it is related to a BackOffice/Developer product. Presently, Online Support does not handle such cases but is looking to do so in the future. "For immediate assistance with this issue, you will need to contact Professional Support on 13 16 30 (Australia) or 0800 800 004 (New Zealand) to receive your professional support options." Has anyone else had similar problems? What does Microsoft mean by "BackOffice/Developer product"? I can't think of anything that would meet this criteria. SP3??? Anyway, just trying to get some more information before I ring them and get us both totally confused ;-) Thanks.
