Am I really the only one to encounter this problem??? copied by hand: ----------- /usr/bin/nt5x-install ----------- program parted is using a deprecated SCSI ioctl, please convert it to SG_IO * We have fix_disk_geo_heads (255), writing into /dev/dsk1 * We have fix_disj_geo_sectors (63), writing into /dev/dsk1 * Saving existing disk geometry for /dev/dsk1 * Writing ntldr_boot_code_sektor0 into /dev/dsk1 * Writing ntldr_boot_code_sektor12 into /dev/dsk1 * Writing saved disk geometry back into /dev/dsk1 * Mounting the soon-to-be 'C:' drive mount: mounting /dev/dsk1 on /c failed: Invalid argument Mounting /dev/dsk1 failed! * Dropping to shell bash-3.2# mount /dev/dsk1 /c mount: mounting /dev/dsk1 on /c failed: Invalid argument bash-3.2# mount /dev/sda1 /c mount: mounting /dev/sda1 on /c failed: Invalid argument Just in case the kernel hadn't reread the partition table after the changes, I rebooted, but got similar results.
