My organization uses Dell machines heavily and since we are a public
research institution with international researchers going in and out every
day, we are constantly doing re-installs. We use the dell installation media
because it's quick and simple and does not require your to input the cd key
and you can reintall on a dell machine as many times as you like. When I
boot and install off the cd, it works fine. When I copy the files on the cd
into unattend and do the install using the cd key in unattend.txt on the cd
it tells me that the cd key is invalid. Is there something up with Dell's
cds that only allows you to use that key specifically with that cd?
