I am having difficulties building from SVN. From what I understand, only the SVN version of unattended is capable of loading firmware images for network cards, which is the reason I need to get an SVN version of unattended.I am running Ubuntu 10.10 and I found the instructions on the Wiki to build from source. I spent hours last night trying to get it to run but I have been getting lots of error messages having to do with ifdefs and undefs regarding __i686 or something. After alot of googling I got those messges to disappear and now I am getting an error message about busybox and undefined get_cpu_features. Basically, what I am hoping for is either someone else who has gone though this who can tell me what I need to fix in my build tree, or even better, someone who has a recent SVN bootable .iso and complete tftpboot folder. Please help anyone :) Matt
Providing a list of those specific errors (starting with the first one!) is the best way to find a solution. Also important information you missed:
* 32-bit or 64-bit version of Ubuntu? * If 64-bit, do you have all of the necessary 32-bit development packages?I've been building Unattended SVN on Ubuntu 9.10 x86_64. I have a fresh install for 10.10 (also x86_64) that I will finish migrating to by Friday. Then I can ensure that setup works as well. I'll also reply here with a list of any Apt packages required. Maybe that will help a bit.
