As I read the section on reflection sessions, I thought wow, how do I get my kids to the point that they are reflecting and teaching each other? I know it takes lots of modeling, but I think it also takes a few kids to get the ball rolling. Most classes have at least a couple of kids that will be ready to jump in. I also need to take the time myself to really reflect on what we are reading so that I can better model for my students. I'm new to strategies and workshop. I'd say I'm starting to dabble in the strategies this spring. I can't wait until next fall when I can set the tone from the beginning of the year, and really dig in deep with my students. Does anyone have students reflecting and teaching other students as described in the book? Cindy
