Actually, it would be multiplied by 1 000 000 000 000,
cf. <http://physics.nist.gov/cuu/Units/prefixes.html>.

Of course, the Unicode capitalization of "�" is U+039C rather than "M";
still, it would not be a good idea to capitalize any units of measurement.
