Probably you didn't mean this, however: I don't think that q with tilde is an actual Yoruba letter. I just used it as an example of an accented character not having a corresponding precomposite sequence. (BTW: "q" came natural as a base letter, because of an old joke on Italian TV about a "q with an accent". Of course, the comic actor who repeated that joke on TV did not know that Unicode was under development at the same age). _ Marco
