One other note:

The top of the horn on O/o and U/u typically ends at the flat alignment height of these cases (cap-height and x-height), but in some designs it may rise slightly above this. I don't think there is any particularly good reason to make it rise higher, unless the x-height is extremely small and there is no other way to make the horn of sufficient size.
